PILOT PROGRAM TO ARGENTINA
In July 2016, a team of five students from Curtin University travelled to Argentina to work for a month with Ingenieria Sin Fronteras (Engineers Without Borders) in La Plata, Buenos Aires Province. The team worked on building a soup kitchen and community centre in one of the poor neighbourhoods on the outskirts of the city, which provides food and academic support for children of the area.
The five student engineers and the operators of the Comedor.
Children and their parents come from all around the neighbourhood to get basic necessities such as food and clothes.
A massive delivery of donations arrived and we needed to quickly move them out the worksite
